There are few things more important to me than women's and girls' empowerment, so when the opportunity to attend The Lady Project Summit as press crossed my desk, I jumped at the chance to attend.
Lady Project Summit 2018
I personally find that events focused on bringing strong women together provide me with inspiration and revitalized strength in a way that really stays with me. I love personal development books, and reading and listening to them are a regular part of my daily routine, but there is a different kind of energy gained from spending time with other women who have big goals in person; particularly when those women are dedicated to helping you see your goals become a successful reality.
The Lady Project Summit promises to be an opportunity that not only showcases women doing incredible things, but also connects you to those women in a way that is both educational and inspirational. This testimonial on the website says it all:

"To me the Lady Project Summit is the Christmas of all events. With my new dress on and newly printed Moo business cards i'm on a mission to collaborate with as many new and old Lady Project friends as I can, get awesome educational advice and hands-on learning, eat RI deliciousness and leave with a fulfilled mind and a giant smile. Always my favorite event and just when you think it can't get any better it always does." --:) "- - Keri Dillard Ambrosino, PVD Lady Project

The sixth annual Lady Project Summit will be held on October 6th, 2018 at The VETS Memorial Auditorium in Providence, RI. I am so excited for this day full of speakers, professional workshops, and networking opportunities.
This year's keynote speakers include Emma Gray, Senior Women's Reporter at HuffPost, Blair Imani, Author and Activist, Emily Belden, Best-Selling Harlequin Author, and Andrea Isabelle Lucas, Founder of Barre & Soul. In addition to this incredible lineup, there are panels on Media, Authors, Motherhood, Women Leading the Charge, and Self Care. Workshops range in topic from "Live your Best Life Today" to "DIY PR: How to be Your Own Publicist" to "Pitch Perfect: How to Get Your Writing Published in Top Publications" to "Doing Good While Doing Well: How to Make an Impact While Making a Profit" and so much more. My only complaint is that I wish the conference were two days instead of one so I could have another full day to experience more of these workshops!
If you would like to learn more about The Lady Project, visit them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or on their website. Tickets for The Lady Project Summit are $225 and are available here. Entrepreneurial women helping other women can only bring positive change. Hope to see you in Providence on October 6th!
