I’ve recently booked two family vacations for clients to visit Ambergris Caye in Belize this coming April, and I’m so excited for these families to have incredible vacations!
Why Belize?? Here are 5 reasons to consider visiting:
1. The water is gorgeous and so clear! Take a look at the pics. This is the kind of water you dream about when you think of a tropical paradise.
2. It is the perfect haven for families who love water sports. Whether it’s scuba diving, snorkeling, SUP, or kayaking, this is an ideal place for you.
3. It’s one of the best places in the world for scuba diving. The Blue Hole is the most famous spot, but with the longest unbroken barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere, it offers many world-class diving options.
4. There is much to do beyond enjoying the beautiful water such as visiting Mayan ruins, zip-lining through the jungle, and tubing through underwater caves. There is also San Pedro, which is a charming seaside town with lots of live music and nightly entertainment.
5. Belize, and specifically Ambergris Caye, is an excellent choice for families with older kids who are looking for amazing beaches, tranquility, and options for adventure with affordable resort options and award winning hospitality.
